Duoliang Train Station is a popular destination in Taitung, originally nestled on a slope with tunnels at both ends. The station uniquely transforms its roof into an observation deck, offering a panoramic view of the azure ocean merging with the adjacent mountainside, providing a serene and awe-inspiring vista.
2. Tribal Specialty – Shell ginger Lemon Tea
During challenging medical times, the Vuvu people often gathered mountain herbs for healing. The wisdom of using shell ginger leaves, especially in summer, presents a refreshing drink to beat the heat and is good for digestion.
3. Introduction, and establishment story of Sunrise Driftwood Workshop
Located above Duoliang Station, the Sunrise Driftwood Workshop was established to empower local indigenous communities with skills after Typhoon Morakot. Besides offering exquisitely crafted handmade products, they provide DIY workshops and excellent meals.
