Bayang Amis Cuisine
Indulge in an authentic Amis tribal feast of food, drink, and traditional dances. Immerse yourself in the vibrant celebration of Amis culture through a captivating culinary and artistic experience.
This land belongs to the KAKUPA clan of the Amis tribe. Due to the traditional practice of gathering among the Amis people, the daughter of the clan leader found it fascinating to be able to feed the guests by collecting wild vegetables instead of purchasing them from the market.
The restaurant was established to explore more wild vegetables and preserve the culinary culture of the Amis tribe. The interior of the restaurant is adorned with traditional bamboo weaving, showcasing the distinctive Amis tribal ambiance.
The Amis people have a rich culinary tradition and consume 200-300 types of wild vegetables throughout the seasons. The menu here reflects a day of hunting, gathering, and feasting, incorporating the meats, vegetables, and fish obtained during these activities, symbolizing the traditional Amis diet. By collaborating with local suppliers, we strive to provide an authentic dining experience that truly represents the flavors of the land.
