Fugang Geopark (Little Yehliu) boasts a rich variety of captivating rock formations, similar to Taiwan's Yehliu Geopark on the northern coast. Here, you can witness the world's only two sets of overturned rock layers, where massive sandstone blocks, after being pushed by tectonic plates, present an inverted sequence of coarse-to-fine layers. The park exhibits diverse terrains, and on clear days, you can directly overlook Green Island across the water. The park features a range of coastal plants. Don't miss the "Crab Realty Agency," where you can observe land hermit crabs and learn more about them!

Introduction
Inverted topography
The rocks in Fugang Geopark consist of sandstone and have been affected by the compression between the "Philippine Sea Plate" and the "Eurasian Continental Plate." These immense sandstone layers, originally situated in the ocean, have flipped and inverted due to tectonic forces, creating visible traces on the rocks. As these rocks were submerged in the sea, they underwent sediment deposition, resulting in a coarser texture at the bottom and a finer texture on top. Visitors can feel the rocks on-site, providing tangible evidence of the inverted topography.
Spectacular Rock Formation
Through tectonic movements and prolonged erosion by the sea, an array of peculiar and distinctive rock formations have been sculpted, each named based on its unique appearance. The most renowned within the park is the "Big-eyed Frog," alongside others such as the "Dinosaur," "Sea Turtle," "Centipede," and "Python," all showcasing the park's distinctive and diverse geological landscapes.
Introduction to seaside plants
Here you'll find various plants like the Velvet Leaf Soldierbush, Portia Tree, and Large-leaved Sterculia. Let the guides here share with you the special roles or uses these plants hold in the memories of Taiwanese people.
